Abuse is not limited to women or wives. Many times mothers abuse their innocent children. Sometimes wives abuse their husbands. It is hard for a man to admit that he is being abused. The support for him is often less than it is for the wife. There is date rape and teenage abuse. No does not mean the same thing for a male and female. Today one out of every four individuals is taking care of an elderly person. It is sad to know that many cases of financial abuse and physical abuse are inflicted upon them by their own children. In a sick kind of way it is almost as if we are paying them back for how they treated us.
What kind of older person do you want to be? Do you want to be old and bitter, griping and complaining, miserable, unhealthy, overweight, and without the capacity to remain active? Well, of course not. But you and I both know plenty of folks who are that way.

How often I have heard somebody use the excuse that they saw no point in exercise because they personally knew of someone who was in the best of health and ran marathons.but died of a heart attack at age 40. Do a front, back, and side shot. A digital camera works exceptionally well here since you can quickly compare photos of yourself from day one of your diet through your entire regimen. This visual enforcement of your efforts can be a great encouragement.
